Update On Outstanding Orders & News On Shipping To US Customers

Hi folks!

I hope you’re all having a great week so far. I just wanted to write a quick update as there are two pieces of news to share. One regarding your orders if you have placed one, and one regarding shipping to the US…

Firstly, regarding your orders - again, thank you all so much for your patience! I was able to ship off about 30 orders today, and I hope to have another 30 orders or so completed by the end of this week. After that, there should only be about a week and a half lead time. So any orders placed today for example, I should hopefully have those out the door and on their way to you in another week and a half. The last few weeks have been unbelievably busy. I’ve had friends and family really help my wife and me out with looking after my daughter so that I can get as much work done as quickly as possible. To all of those folks that have helped, thank you very very much! You know who you are. You are just incredible people. Thank you.

Secondly, regarding shipping to the US. There was an update from Australia Post today! They announced they will be resuming shipping to the US on or before the 25th of September. As there is no definite date, I can only assume there are still some things to be figured out. But what I will say is that Zonos will be handling the tariff payments. As far as I understand it, Zonos and my Australia Post business account will be linked and anytime I purchase a US address shipping label from Australia Post, Zonos will calculate the tariff and that will be subtracted from my bank account connected with Zonos. Unfortunately this does mean that US Customer will face slightly higher prices as I account for tariff rate in the prices of my items. The best way for me to do this is add a certain amount of money to the cost of shipping to US addresses. On my current platform, I am unable to charge different item prices depending on location, so the only option I’m left with is charge shipping prices to US addresses rather than the standard free shipping.

Regarding how prices will change regarding the tariffs, I’ve still got to wait and see how the tariff payments will play out and what kind of extra fees there are from Zonos to account for everything, but I will keep you updated as best I can.
