Regarding the recent massive influx of orders.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day on this, the 28th of August where ever you are in the world!
I’d like to write a quick message regarding a massive influx of orders I have received. If you’re reading this, you’re most likely here from Reddit. Once again, I can’t express in words the gratitude I have for you all keeping me going like this in times of turbulent international ‘weather’.
Along with the massive influx of orders is a massive influx of emails. I’m working as quickly as I can to respond to folks, be it a question about your order, or just a general message of support (which I am eternally grateful for).
In terms of all those orders placed, I should inform you all that the current lead time will be around a month. I’m so sorry! I’ll be working as diligently as possible, while also ensuring quality is maintained, to complete your orders in a prompt manner. Some folks that ordered early on Tuesday should hopefully receive shipping notifications this Friday the 29th of August as I’m working through from the first to order to the most recent.
Generally when receiving orders I like to try and complete them on the day or within a few days and ship the wallet out on the day I complete it, however in the short term I think the most efficient way to ship folks orders will be to make as many wallets through the week and batch ship on Fridays. The process to enable the wallet to be shipped generally takes about an hour from packaging the wallet to attaching a label, to then taking it to the post office, regardless of how many I’m doing. It takes me about an hour to make each wallet, which adds up to about 7 wallets per week (some times more or less depending on the model) that I could be making in place of shipping.
Also, my work schedule currently looks like this: Mondays and Tuesdays are both solo parenting days while my wife is at work, so I’m unable to work during the day (once my daughter is asleep, I can then get to work). Wednesday is our family day (but for the time being while this massive influx of orders is outstanding, I will be working Wednesdays. Thursday and Fridays are working days. And for the time being so will Saturdays and Sundays.
Your patience and understanding for this extended wait time will be greatly appreciated, however I understand if for whatever reason the wait is too long and you request a refund. I will fulfill those requests.
